jLog V 4.5.7 - Release Notes
jLog V 4.5 can be installed directly over a previous version (or after first
uninstalling the previous version). Make sure you have BACKUP COPIES OF YOUR LOG
FILES (i.e the *.jdb-files) stored somewhere else. I recommend that you strongly consider updating the Java Runtime
Environment (JRE) before installing the new version (links to the newest versions
can be found on jLog's Java download page). Frequent update of the JRE is generally recommended (Java is being continuously improved!).

Mac Classic
Check that you have the Mac Look and Feel for Java installed. The Mac option
should appear in the File->Look and Feel menu. If not, install the mac.jar and
swing.properties in the lib directory of the Java
VM.
To allow for Look and Feel switching, the swing.properties file may need to
be added to the Java VM lib directory. This is an example
of the content of the swing.properties
file with 'Mac' added to the three basic Look and Feels:
# Swing properties
swing.defaultlaf=com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel
swing.installedlafs = motif,windows,metal,mac
swing.installedlaf.motif.name = CDE/Motif
swing.installedlaf.motif.class = com.sun.java.swing.plaf.motif.MotifLookAndFeel
swing.installedlaf.windows.name = Windows
swing.installedlaf.windows.class =
com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel
swing.installedlaf.metal.name = Metal
swing.installedlaf.metal.class = javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel
swing.installedlaf.mac.name = Mac
swing.installedlaf.mac.class = com.sun.java.swing.plaf.mac.MacLookAndFeel
Place the mac.jar in the same
lib directory. You may want to try the
macos.jar
(described in the article
Java on the Mac)
by adding it to the swing.properties file as shown here:
swing.installedlafs = motif,windows,metal,mac,macos
.
.
swing.installedlaf.macos.name = MacOS
swing.installedlaf.macos.class = it.unitn.ing.swing.plaf.macos.MacOSLookAndFeel
